Black Mountain's 1st Annual PROM-N-AID Adult Prom!

Join us in this special fundraising event to "have a second shot to have the best night of your life!"
We will be "dancing through the decades" at White Horse (in Black Mountain):

Saturday, April 26th - starting at 6pm

There will be door prizes, costume contests, and much more! Tickets are available now HERE (below) and available at the door, but don't wait and miss out - as there will be a limited number of tickets sold!

$30 per person, including heavy appetizers

4th Annual Spring FASHION SHOW

Tuesday, March 25th: 6-8 pm

Join us for fashion, fun, food and fellowship! Krista Anne's will be contributing spring fashions and musical entertainment, and heavy appetizers & drinks will be provided, as well as door prizes, raffle items, and more!

$12 contribution, per person
(Prepaid reservations will be listed at event entrance in purchaser's name.)

"12 Days of Shopping = GIVING"

Thanks to the generous support of our Black Mountain businesses, we will be putting on "12 Days of Shopping = GIVING" where on specific days of November and December, participating businesses will be donating a portion of their sales to SVTHC.

Would your business like to participate? Email us HERE - we will be accepting participation until Nov. 12 - at that time, we'll be submitting the total list of businesses to the Black Mountain News, along with an editorial about the event.

Our Wish List

Like any household, the house has ongoing needs, large and small. This year we have compiled a wish list. If you are so inclined, please feel free to contribute an item or two on the list. Any contribution, small or large, will be greatly appreciated.

Items needed for the house include:

• Bedding and linens (twin size) - sheets, blankets, and/or bed spreads/comforters

• Towels - bath, hand, and wash cloths

• Dish towels and dish cloths
• A set of kitchen knives, and bowls

• Gardening tools, potting soil and planters
• Household tools in general, and a power drill

• A new printer, and the latest Windows program for the computer

• Fashionable clothing, perfume, back packs, toiletries

If you would like to contribute gifts for the residents, they would especially enjoy:

• Gift cards for restaurants, department stores, movies, and online shopping
• Magazine subscriptions
• Manicures or pedicures, beauty items (lip gloss, nail polish, etc.)
• Exercise videos, daily meditation books
• Tickets for local points of interest
